Connecting Norwegian AI Research to Industry

Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Meet the AI industry event – an NLDL 2026 side event hosted by SFI Visual Intelligence and UiT The Arctic University of Norway in collaboration with the Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium (NORA).

We invite you to an informal evening at Storgata Camping with pizza, drinks, and a set of short presentations from different companies. The event's aim is to provide a broader view of where in the industry AI skillsets are required. Often one might only hear about larger companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, etc, but so much more of our industry sector needs AI expertise.

Each industry partner will give a small presentation of their company, what they do and where they exist in the world. You'll then be able to talk to them after the presentations have ended.

The event will consist of eight short presentations from a diverse set of companies: four main presentations and four surprise presentations. The session will be followed by food and refreshments.
